RAM Recommendations for Destiny 2
The official recommendations are good for RAM. 6GB is the minimum you should be looking at, and would allow you to run the game fine, but 8GB is much better. More than 8GB is unnecessary for playing Destiny 2, but certainly won't hurt anything.
Most people recommend changing the priority of D2R.exe to “high” to fix stuttering issues. I had no success until switching it to “realtime”, then back down to “high.” Let me know if this helps you! You're also out of luck if you're trying to play on a laptop without a dedicated Nvidia or AMD graphics card. The game does not support even Intel's better Iris GPUs. In most cases, it'll simply refuse to launch, as noted by many beta testers in the game's beta forums.
Is D2R better on console or PC? ›Last but not least the MM is broken on consoles and there is no lobby or any way to chat in-game, these are core features of D2 and its been taken away. Overall D2R on the console is a 1/10 for me, the PC version is far superior in nearly every way. I've got it on all platforms. I enjoy it on all platforms.
