Are AMC and Fandango the same? ›

Fandango's partners are the nation's leading exhibitors, including AMC Theatres, Regal Cinemas, Cinemark, Marcus Theatres, Harkins Theatres, and many other innovative theater chains and independent cinemas.

To watch something from your Fandango at Home library, you will need to sign in/activate your TV in the Fandango at Home app by clicking on Sign In/Join and following the on-screen instructions. Once logged into your Fandango at Home account, select "My Fandango at Home" to access purchased titles and active rentals.

Purchased movies range from $4.99 to $24.99. Fandango at Home also offers TV shows for purchase. Individual episodes generally range from $1.99-$2.99.

You can access FandangoNOW on most devices, including smartphones, tablets, computers and smart TVs. FandangoNOW offers a number of ways to watch: Watch new releases you can't find on Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime. Zero cost to setup a FandangoNOW account, buy and rent movies as you go.

Fandango collects a small convenience fee per ticket so that we may continue serving our customers with all their moviegoing needs.

Fandango Gift Cards can only be used towards the purchase of movie tickets from Fandango. Gift Cards cannot be used to make purchases at a theater box office or any website operated by third-party merchants accessible from our site. Fandango gift cards cannot be used or redeemed on Fandango at Home.

You will be prompted to select if you want to claim your Fandango FanRewards Points for a discount toward a ticket purchase on Fandango or a movie or TV show purchase on Fandango at Home. Once you make your selection, you'll receive a $5 promo code for use on your selected service.

Once you receive your Mobile Ticket, simply take your mobile device with you to the theater and have the barcode scanned right at the ticket podium. There's no need to wait in line or print anything!

Like The Roku Channel, Fandango at Home has no premium subscription tier. You can't pay a monthly fee to remove ads or unlock more of the library like you can with Hulu or Peacock.

The name-change is a reversal for Fandango, which in 2021 phased out the FandangoNow movie and TV storefront — and replaced it with the Vudu name. Vudu began notifying customers of the rebranding via email on Thursday (Feb. 15). In the message, it said the change to Fandango at Home would occur “in a few weeks.”
